Add and Delete Users

Section: Getting Started

User Permissions Needed:  Administrator

TIP: Before adding users, be sure you have created the Team you’ll want to associate your user with. 

ADD A USER

To add a user, follow these steps:

  1. In the web application, click on the icon in the upper left corner to display the menu
  2. Click “Users” from the menu items
  3. Click “Add”
  4. Select the Type of user: Student or Alumni
  5. Enter the user’s first name, last name, and email address
  6. Select which Team you would like to associate the user with
  7. Select the Class of the user (for Student Type only)
  8. Click “Save”
  9. A message window will appear confirming the successful addition of the user

IMPORT USERS

You may import a list of users, using a .CSV file, under the same type (i.e Student or Alumni).

TIP: Prepare your list for upload. Download the .CSV template for Students or Alumni. 

To import a list of users, follow these steps:

  1. In the web application, click on the icon in the upper left corner to display the menu
  2. Click “Users” from the menu items
  3. Click “Import”
  4. Select the user Type (Student or Alumni)
  5. Click “Upload File (CSV)”
  6. Locate the .CSV file containing the list of users you want to upload
  7. Click “Start Import”
  8. You’ll receive a message confirming that the data was imported successfully and the newly added users should appear in your list of users

DELETE A USER

To delete a user, follow these steps:

  1. In the web application, click on the icon in the upper left corner to display the menu
  2. Click “Users” from the menu items
  3. Locate the user you want to delete either by searching, filtering, or scrolling through the list of users
  4. Click the trash can icon on the user’s row
  5. Confirm the deletion of the user
  6. You’ll be presented with a message confirming that the user was successfully deleted

DELETE MULTIPLE USERS

To delete multiple users at once, follow these steps:

  1. In the web application, click on the icon in the upper left corner to display the menu
  2. Click “Users” from the menu items
  3. Locate the user you want to delete either by searching, filtering, or scrolling through the list of users
  4. Click the checkbox next to the users’ names you’d like to delete
  5. Click “Delete Multiple”
  6. Confirm the deletion of the user
  7. You’ll be presented with a message confirming that the user was successfully deleted
