Create a Push Notification

User Permissions Needed:  Administrator

CREATE A PUSH NOTIFICATION FROM THE WEB APP

To create a notification from the web app, follow the steps below:

1. Click on the icon in the upper left corner to display the menu
2. Click “Feed” from the menu items, and then “Feeds” within the submenu
3. Click “Add”
4. Click “Notification” for the content type
5. Add the notification title
6. Select who you would like to receive the notification
   For groups, select the specific group(s)
   For teams, select the specific team(s)
   For individuals, select the specific individuals
7. Select the Notification Type
8. Click “Post Now”
9. You’ll be presented with a message confirming that the new notification was successfully sent

CREATE A PUSH NOTIFICATION FROM THE MOBILE APP

To create a notification from the mobile app, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the mobile app
2. Click on the Feed icon in the bottom navigation
3. Click the “+” icon
4. Click “Notification” for the content type
5. Add the notification title
6. Select who you would like to receive the notification
   For groups, select the specific group(s)
   For teams, select the specific team(s)
   For individuals, select the specific individuals
7. Select the Notification Type
8. Click “Post”
