Manage the Feed

User Permissions Needed:  Administrator or Alumni

MANAGE POSTS (EDIT, PIN, RESCHEDULE AND DELETE)

To manage the feed from the web application, follow the steps below.

  1. Click on the icon in the upper left corner to display the menu
  2. Click “Feed” from the menu items, and then “Feeds” within the submenu
  3. You’ll see all the posts in your feed on the left side of the screen. On the right, you’ll see the scheduled posts.
  4. To edit a post:
    Click on the pencil icon, make your changes, and click “Update Post”.
    You’ll receive a message confirming the post was updated
  5. To pin a post so it says at the top of the feed:
    Click on the pin icon
    Confirm you want to pin it
    You’ll receive a message confirming the post was pinned
  6. To delete a post
    Click on the trash can icon
    Confirm you want to delete it
    You’ll receive a message confirming the post was pinned
  7. To reschedule a post
    Click on the pencil icon on a scheduled post
    Change the date/time of the post
    Select “Update Post”
    You’ll receive a message confirming the post was updated

 

REVIEW AND DELETE REPORTED POSTS

To review and delete reported posts, follow the steps below.

  1. Click on the icon in the upper left corner to display the menu
  2. Click “Feed” from the menu items, and then “Reported Feeds” within the submenu
  3. You’ll see all the posts in your feed that have been reported by users.
  4. To delete a post
    Click on the trash can icon
    Confirm you want to delete it
    You’ll receive a message confirming the post was deleted
